Let Go

You left your coat on my chair,
Like you might come back
Two shoes by the door
And a matchbook in my lap
I keep your name in my mouth
Like a cut
I won't close
Every room still leans
When the old wind blows
So say it straight,
Do you mean goodbye?
I can take the hit
If you look me in the eye
My hands are shaking
I won't fall
